PureTech Potassium - Optimize the Return from Your Crops

PureTech Potassium is a non-chlorinated pure form of potassium for rapid uptake combined with Verdesian's Take Off® technology to maximize nitrogen efficiency and water utilization enabling optimum yield and quality.

This form of potassium prevents any antagonism at the point of entry to the plant and to other tank-mix partners.

Potassium is essential within the plant for carbohydrate transportation. Sugar is produced in the leaf and requires potassium to move the energy within the plant for cell division and turgor to build stems, flowers and fulfill yields (i.e. grain fill, tuber bulking).

Potassium is responsible for:

• Catalysing enzyme processes promoting photosynthesis
• Production of sugar, storage, and transport of carbohydrates
• Nitrogen efficiency is highly dependent on potassium
• Potassium has a role in oil production and improves water use efficiently

Application Instructions

Equipment
PureTech Potassium can be applied through all standard crop sprayers using current best practices.

Application Rates
Apply 1-3 litres per hectare.

Water Volume
PureTech Potassium should be applied in a solution less than or equal to 2% concentration (2l in 100l water). If applying with any other product at low water volumes use a solution less than or equal to 1% concentration (1l in 100l of water).

Mixing
Add the required amount of PureTech Potassium to the half-filled sprayer tank with the agitation system running. Mix well, fill to the required level and continue to agitate at all times during spraying operations as well as when standing until the tank is emptied. Spray immediately after mixing.

Compatibility
PureTech Potassium is compatible with most agrochemical and plant nutrition products. When using in tank-mixture with other product(s) ensure the concentrates do not come into contact during mixing. Add PureTech Potassium as the final product.

Cereals

1.0 litre/ha growth stage 30/32 – repeated at growth stage 37

Oilseed Rape

1.0 litre/ha Onset of stem extension – repeated at green bud stage

Potatoes and Sugar Beets

1.0 litre to 2.0 litre/ha four weeks post-emergence plus another two applications at fortnight apart
