Do More With Less
Everything we do at Verdesian Life Sciences is designed around supporting growers worldwide with the tools and technologies they need to grow more food with fewer inputs. Every day, we focus on helping farmers do more with less so they can supply the world with the food and nutrients to meet its needs.
As a key part of that community, agriculture continues to take seriously the principle of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) within the industry in a way that allows for healthy crops, healthy families and communities, and sustainable opportunities for all.
The Three Pillars
There are the three pillars that make up ESG:
- Good and guiding environmental ambassadors for the industry.
- Fair in how a company treats its employees, farmers and partners.
- Responsible for how a business is governing its finances and investments.

Evolution
Verdesian is creating a better workplace and business, through ESG, which is important to Verdesian, our CEO explains why:
“We are the ‘Nutrient Use Efficiency People’ for a reason, and that reason is the employees, partners and farmers with whom we have the privilege of working every single day. We have a duty to do right by them all, and our focus on ESG helps us accomplish that,”
“A lot of people talk about what they are going to do in the future, but we are doing it now. We have products in the field today that reduce the amount of Phosphorus in our waterways, how much Nitrogen (N) is lost to the environment and help sequester carbon dioxide.”
Creating a Better Environment
Our nutrient use efficiency products have been designed to help farmers do more with less. That means you don’t have to sacrifice yield or profit, but it does mean you have the ability to reduce the amount of nutrients lost to the environment.
As we continue to look to the future, we’re focused on improving the way nutrients are used and giving the next generation more opportunities to enjoy the environments they live and work in.

Stabilise N Fertiliser
We focus on reducing the negative impact of ammonia and greenhouse gases in our environment.
Nitrous oxide (N20) is 300 times more harmful than carbon dioxide, and agriculture is one of the largest contributors responsible for N2O emissions internationally.
Farmers can reduce their N2O emissions footprint in a number of ways:
- Decreasing the amount of fertiliser applied, which risks yield loss.
- Using enhanced fertiliser that reduces emissions loss and enables that reduction with no yield impact.
- Verdesian has products that stabilise N fertiliser, to support the reduction of ammonia and greenhouse gases, and enable producers to grow more food, sustainably.
Fertiliser Use Efficiency
We focus on improving water quality.
We do this by reducing leaching into the groundwater from fertilisers which wastes resources and changes water quality, hence creating phosphorus fertiliser enhancer.
We keep more nitrogen in the crop root for longer, with such products developed with our Nitrogen Use Efficiency Technology, allowing plants to absorb more of the nutrients they need.
Maximise Nutrient Uptake
We focus on improving soil health.
Verdesian Solutions helps maximise the output from soil while maintaining its characteristics for the future.
Verdesian offers products that assist in protecting and boosting healthy soils.
